VPJ is an emerging Haitian American artist. As a Licensed Masters of Social Work, she found her way back to art during graduate school as a form of self care. The moment she picked up a paint brush again, she revived a childhood passion cultivated from endless coloring books and crayons to classes at Zelda Art Studio in her hometown of Brooklyn. Her use of acrylic is ever evolving and ultimately inspired by her experiences as a mental health professional, love for nature, music and historical figures. VPJ aspires to create art that moves people to think, question and be more conscious of the would and the impact we each choose to create daily.
